Zoey - 11 Months

11 months have come and gone but I can't imagine our lives without you!

You aren't doing many new things this month.
You are standing a lot but still not walking.
You still have NO teeth.
You have learned the sign language for "all done" and you can kind of sign "more".
You love to destroy Maddux's train tracks.

You are sleeping a lot better at night but aren't a great napper.
You started Mother's Morning Out this summer and you hated your first class but now that we have moved you, you seem happier.
You are eating more solid foods (even without teeth).

You attended your first wedding (Sara and Andy).
You are still a smiley little girl.
You wear a size 4 diaper.
You wear size 12 - 18 month clothes.
I think you probably weight around 25 pounds.

You favorite places in the house are the bathroom and the kitchen where the garbage is. (?!??!?!)
You still love to swim but are not interested in sitting in the float anymore.

Zoey - 10 Months

10 months old!! Where has the time gone?

Zoey is....

- Pulling up on EVERYTHING.
- waving bye bye.
- shaking her head when we say no no no. (started that on Mother's Day).
- clapping.
- pointing (we're number one). Notice in the picture below.
-wearing size 4 diapers.
- wearing size 12 months clothes.
- is the most laid back baby ever.

Zoey....

- weighs 21.8 pounds. I asked them to weigh her again because I swear she feels bigger.
- still doesn't sleep well.
- has the cute grin that is ALWAYS on her face.
- takes 4 bottles a day but is more interested in food.
- says dada, mama, baba.
- screaming with glee when her siblings run around the house screaming.
- still has ZERO teeth. She has a super cute gummy smile!
- LOVES swimming/the splash pad.
- went to the beach for the first time and loved it. She ate a lot of sand and was always covered it in.
-plays peekaboo. It's so cute!
- puts her head on my shoulder every time we walk in her room at bed time. It's like she know I will hold her for a little bit longer if she does it. . .(and it works). It melts me EVERY night.

Zoey - 9 Months

Zoey,

You are 9 months old! What have you been up too??

- You are wearing 9-12 month clothes.
- You wear size 3 diapers but I just bought a box of size 4.
- You take 4 bottles a day.
- You eat 3 times a day but I'm pretty sure you aren't crazy about baby food.

- You are crawling everywhere (started crawling April 14th/15th)!
- You love to wave. Like all the time.
- You have been fussy this month. I think from teething. Overall you are a very happy baby.
- Still NO teeth...but I think I see them under the gums.

- A and M loves when you "play" with them. You follow them all over the house but as soon as you get anywhere near their toys they freak.
- You love Maddux's trains and I can only let you touch them if he isn't in the house or is asleep.
- You still aren't a great sleeper but you do have good nights. You are asleep from 7:30 to 7:30. You nap twice a day (sort of).

Our family pet...

While at the Caterpillar Parade we "adopted" a cocoon to take home and keep in a safe place until it was time for it to emerge. I'm not going to lie...I was a little worry about keeping this thing alive because they gave us strict instruction to take it home and put it in a cool, dark place. Well it eventually got to a cool, dark place...that is after we went and played at the park.

Thankfully, after a few days of waiting and watching our beautiful butterfly emerged. I think I was more excited then the kids (probably because it was actually alive). After breakfast, we took it outside and set it free. It took a good 10 minutes for it to fly away but the kids had a great time cheering it on. Avery named the butterfly but for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was.

While dad's out of town....

Kellen went out of town a few weeks ago and thankfully my parents invited me and the crew over to spend the weekend. Without the help, I think I would have gone crazy. Pop decided that he need to wash his truck Saturday afternoon and I not sure the twins really knew what he meant by help. Everyone ended up wet but it was fun!

Caterpillar Parade 2012

I grew up in the small town of Clinton, MS where everybody know everybody. It's great to go back with my kids so I can show them off take them to places where I hung out at when I was younger. Every year they have a the Caterpillar Parade where a lot of the town comes out and celebrates spring  complete with a kid's parade, magic show, shopping, crowning of the caterpillar queen and much more.

We had a great time and it was nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Before we left we went back to the park where Avery and Maddux got to seesaw for the first time. I have never really thought about it but twins are perfect for seesawing. They loved it and obviously had to be supervised. Zoey had a great time just watching.

Manic Monday

Well I haven't posted in a while so I must catch you up on what we have been doing!

We have been enjoying the wonderful weather outside.

Maddux has learned how to climb ladders which makes his dad very nervous but me very happy. I will have someone to ride roller coasters with!

He went almost to the top. I promise he was supervised.

We have been snuggling a lot. I get really sad when I think about how fast this little girl is growing. :(

This cannot be safe....

We have been having lunch with Pop. Girl loves her a straw.

Girl loves her some Pop.

We have gone to the Zoo.

We have gone to a birthday party and Avery actually enjoyed the jump house! Yay!!

The theme was Mario. The girls got princess crowns.

The boys got Mario hats.

We have seesawed for the first time!

Twins are the prefect match for seesawing. They loved it.

We have learned how to drink out of a sippy cup. Again...growing up to fast. :(

We have a new family pet that will be emerging from it's cocoon soon!

We "helped" Pop wash his truck!

Sweet baby blues.

We got extremely wet.

Clean baby.

We had a surprise birthday party for our pastor.

We have been practicing our letter writing.

AND......we have been CRAWLING. Yay, Zoey!!!

Zoey - 8 Months

Zoey Bug....You are EIGHT months old!

- You are so cute and a very content baby!
- You are wearing size 3 diapers and 9-12 month clothes.
- You have lots of rolls.

- You are so close to crawling that it is scary. Just tonight you went from a laying to sitting position. OMW....I'm not ready to chase after 3.
- You are rolling a lot more. It's still not your form of transportation but you do it when you have to.
- You are scooting everywhere.

- You drink 4 bottles a day. 3ish meals a day.
- You love Mum-Mums and puffs and are getting really good at picking them up and actually getting them to your mouth.
- You say baba, dada and mama. You are like to just say AHHHHH and you really love it when Avery repeats it.

- You love the jumpy, A and M's toys (A and M are learning to share...ya right...), and other babies.
- You are a bad napper but a good night sleeper.

Zoey,

You seriously are a very happy baby and sometimes I wish you would cry to let me know you are hungry or need to be changed. You little personality is coming out and it's been so fun to watch.

Love you,

Mom

Saturday Tidbits

- This week was a good week. MMO started back. Everyone is healthy.

- During bible study on Monday night Kellen emailed me this picture and it made me laugh.

- This little girl is ready to take off. It won't be long.

- I have a feeling we will be doing this a lot this summer since it will be so hot.

- Zoey had lunch with her bff, Lindley on Tuesday. We enjoyed her mommy's company too! :)

- This little boy loves a good play-set.

- Avery has gotten over her fear of play ground slides this week. We were at Chick-fil-a when the magical moment happened. She is so proud of her self.

- It's easy to take pictures of Zoey right now because she can't go anywhere. And she is cute.

- Maddux is a big boy. On Tuesday (at mmo) he got put in timeout 3 times for turning the lights off on people. I know it shouldn't, but it kind of makes me laugh. Thursday he got a good report.

- Avery wanted to sit with Zoey in her stroller. Zoey wasn't as thrilled about it as she was but it worked.

- I hope they love each other forever. Sweet sisters. Avery is normally very patience with Zoey.

- On Tuesday, A and M made ants out of playdoh at school. My mom has the picture of Maddux. They were both so proud of them. Maddux carried his around until it was broken.

- When Zoey wakes up from her nap, A and M love to go and get her. It's really cute and Zoey gets the biggest smile on her face when they walk in.

- Avery insisted on getting in her bed and "reading" her a couple of books.

- If you have a toddler, you should definitely get these. They are called, My Busy Books. It is a book and in the back is a mat and little plastic characters. They have Cars, Princesses, My Little Pony, Thomas and many more. My kids play with them everyday.

- Maddux teetee'd in the front yard this week which was fine UNTIL he turned around and started pooping standing up. Needless to say, I freaked a little. At least he didn't poop in his underwear (right?!?!?).

- Both of the bushes in the front yard a in full bloom. Yay!!

- We found a baby snake in the front yard yesterday. Not cool at all since I put my baby on the ground to play.

- Maddux tried to teetee on the Chick-fil-a playground on Tuesday. Maybe it was a bad thing to show him how to teetee outside.

-  Zoey is almost 8 months old. How did that happen?

- Kellen and I get to go to a wedding tonight! Yay!!

- Have you ever seen, My Big Fat Gypsies Wedding? Wow.
