DPP - Day 15

And 5 days later........

I got these pjs at Walmart. They are so soft and super cute! Avery just LOVES her snowgirl.

Maddux usually always has a truck in his hand.

Avery jumping...She jumps everywhere.

My poor baby with pink eye. It's much better now and I think the two pacis helped.

DPP - Day 10

Tomorrow is our first Gingerbread House party!!! I have constructed 3 houses and have 3 more to go! It has really been fun /messy making all the stuff. I can't wait to see how everyone decorates them. You can tell that the one in the middle was my first one. If you look closely, you can tell that the roof isn't connected. Oh well, if someone can make that one pretty then they win!

DPP - Day 5

During the afternoons when I am trying to make dinner or do anything productive I have to find something fun for the twins to do to keep them occupied. A couple days ago I decided to fill the sink up with warm water and throw a couple of spoons and cups in there and let them play! They LOVED it! It made a mess but messes don't really matter to me, especially when it's just water. SO if you need an idea to keep your kids occupied this is a great one!

DDP - Day 3

Day 3

Maddux is having quite a bad hair day but he is still just the cutest thing every! And how cute is this cup? We found them at Hobby Lobby today and the kids loved them. They are very festive.

I decided to do some crafting today! We are having a Gingerbread House party next weekend and I wanted to make each of the kids something to take home with them other than their houses! I saw this idea on a blog last year and it has stuck in my head all year. I have to say, it was easy (a little time consuming) and turned out super cute. All the supplies came from Hobby Lobby.

Monogram Christmas Ornament Supplies:
Stickers: $4.00
Clear ornaments: 12 for $3.00
Christmas scrapbook paper: 8 pieces for $2.40
scissors

Grand total of $.78 an ornament!

All you do is roll the paper, stuff it into the ornament and add a sticker!

DPP - Day 2

Today is the first day that one of the babies hasn't vomited in about 5 days. Needless to say, today was a good day. Since we weren't really picture ready I decided to take pictures of some of our favorite Christmas decorations.

First the stockings. I think they are my favorite thing! My family hung stockings but didn't really fill them but I am determined to figure this whole stocking thing out. I absolutely LOVE the twins' stockings. I got them last year from Pottery Barn (actually Nana got them!!). The quality is great and they are pretty big. After Christmas I think I am going to order two more for me and Kellen.

I don't know about your elementary school but in Clinton we made these EVERY year! I seriously have 6 of these and they make me laugh every year!

Last year I decided that I wanted to pick out an ornament for each babies every year depending on what they were into that year. Since last year they didn't really care about anything I got these from Hallmark.

This is one of Kellen's ornaments. Who doesn't love A Christmas Story??? 24 hours on Christmas day! I seriously turn it on TBS and watch it allllll day! I never really noticed Ralphie face until I took this picture. It's SO serious.

Kellen and I got this ornament from his parents for our first Christmas. It is SO pretty and I am sooooo scared I am going to break it. It is at the VERY top of the tree to keep little fingers off of it!

This is another one of Kellen's. Everytime Avery see it, she yells..."Go Baves!!"

Isn't this ornament so sweet. One of my students picked this out for me. She gave it to me before we left for Christmas break, which means I was still pregnant. If you look closely, both babies have red hair....maybe she knew something! This one is really special to me!

Who you gunna call?? GHOSTBUSTERS! The kids love this ornament because it plays the song! I love it because it's so cute and it is perfect for Kellen!

The leg lamp....nuff said! (and it talks!)

This is Maddux's ornament for this year. We live close to a small independent airport and when we are outside we see TONS of airplanes pass over. Maddux points out every one to me everyday! He loves airplanes!

If you have been around Avery recently you would know that she is OBSESSED with Tinkerbell. She visits Tink often throughout the day.
Hahaha...this is how we have felt the last couple of days! BLAH!

DPP

I have decided to "TRY" and December '10 Photo Project! Basically, you post a picture everyday up until Christmas of something that you have done that day or maybe the day before. I think it will be good for me by hopefully forcing me to take more pictures. I get so busy, especially during the holidays, that I tend to forget to take pictures.

Since we have all been sick around this house for the last week, I have decided to post a picture from last year. It is still by far one of my favorites, EVER, of the twins. We used this picture for our Christmas card last year and I hope to get one just as good this year.  For those of you that know my babies...they are MUCH bigger this year :(
