Canton Christmas

On Saturday night my parents were keeping my niece and nephews so we decided to drive up to Canton so all the kids could see the lights together. The kids had a blast and it was SO fun to see my kids ride the rides all by themselves. They are growing up so fast.

Micah aka bubba! He is such a sweet boy!

Maddux with his favorite person on the planet, Pop!

Avery and daddy. She wanted to ride Pinky Pie Pony (Little Miss Pony)

Lorelei and Avery
I hope these girls always love each other this much.

Maddux and Jackson
It's been fun to see their relationship grow. Every time Maddux see Jackson he gets SO excited.

And this is the best group picture I got of them. I love it even if it is blurry. That's kind of how life is with 5 kids under 5.

Last but not least, Zoey!! It was so cold and I think Zoey enjoyed being bundled up in her stoller all warm and toasty. She is such a sweet girl.

It's FINALLY beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Well it's finally cold outside and we are just now getting our Christmas lights up. We spend sometime outside as a family plus Wiggins and got it done.

Avery is such a big girl. She looooove to ride her bike. Love those beautiful blue eyes!

If you know my husband, you know this is his twin. I love the fact that they look so much a like. Kellen doesn't see it but everyone else does. Ahhh...I love this little boy!

Maddux helping the guys with the lights/dragging the lights around the front yard.

How does it look Maddux??

Alright, my turn! Just need a drink of milk first!!

Oh wait...why use my hands when I can use my teeth...??

Our week in a nutshell....

It's been a TOUGH week at the Farmer house. All of my babies have some type of sickness. Avery and Maddux have been coughing for about 2 weeks now and I thought it was probably just the weather (since it changes every other day). Well I finally decided to take them to the doctor to see what was up and I am glad I did. We end up giving both of them a breathing treatment before we left the office. She thought that Maddux sounded croupy and a little wheezy. It's Friday now and they are feeling much better. I am so thankfully for medicine and happy babies.

I was trying to think of something fun to do today since we have been stuck inside a lot. It's cold outside for MS blood. A couple weeks ago I saw a cute idea to make a felt Christmas tree/ornaments and let your kids decorate it and undecorate it. I don't know about your house but my real tree has been undecorated 129247 times so I was super excited about this idea. I still want to add some lights and presents for under the tree but this is a good start and A and M were so excited about it!

I will try and post pictures of the trees when I am finished. Avery is more excited about it then Maddux so I will at least try to finish one.

Happy Birthday, Zoey!

August 1, 2011
Zoey Blake Farmer
7 lbs., 8 oz.

IT was a hot morning when we woke up and headed to the hospital. The twins stayed at my (Becca) parents house and they planned on bringing them up there before I went back for surgery. Zoey was a planned c-section. We got there, filled out all of our paper work and got ready to lay in bed until it was time for me to go back. It was a completely different experience then the twins. Soon my parent arrived with Avery and Maddux. I was very surprised to see that they didn't want anything to do with me. I think, because I was in the hospital bed with an IV, the kids were a little stand-offish UNTIL it was time for me to go back. They got me ready to roll out of the room and as I was saying goodbye to my first and second born children THEY LOST IT. I am not even kidding. LOST IT. What in the world?!?! As soon as they lost it, I LOST IT. They didn't care about me until I was being wheeled out of the room. I remember the nurses saying...."tell a funny joke, we have a sad momma....".

Once I was in the operating room everything went as planned. The spinal was great because the doctor was incredible. Shortly after, Kellen joined me and told me the kids were fine and we joked about how ridiculous it was for them to do that. Before we knew it we heard "It's a GIRL!!!" (we didn't find out). The nurse went to the phone and called the room where our parents/twins were and let them hear their newest grandchild/sibling cry. She made sure they still didn't know if the baby was a girl/boy. Kellen got to go and announce to them that it was a girl!

The rest of the hospital stay was great. Zoey was healthy. We had many visitors.

Me very pregnant. I should do a comparison picture. Ha ha....

It's a GIRL!!

First picture with our sweet girl.

Beautiful baby girl.

Avery was VERY interested in her. Maddux not so much. He was more interested in watching Cars.

So much hair!

Sleepy girl.

Going home!! :)

Lindsey

Kelly's Korner is having a "Show us your life: Singles Edition" and I have the perfect person for some lucky man out there!

Meet my friend, Lindsey! She is the one in purple! Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!

Lindsey and I have been friends for YEARS. We grew up in the same town and had the same friends. Lindsey is a wonderful person. She is VERY smart and has always excelled at everything that she has done. She went to Mississippi College for her undergrad and also went to Mississippi College Law School. She is definitely one of the smartest people that I know!

The best thing about Lindsey though, is that she is a Christian. She loves the Lord. In between undergrad and law school she spent some time traveling and doing mission work in Jordan. She is very knowledgeable about the word and I admire that about her!

She was brought up in a wonderful home and her family is still very close. She has a younger sister and an older brother. She has one niece that she absolutely adores! She has a lot of friends and a great sense of humor.

Currently, Lindsey lives in Jackson, is a lawyer at a law firm in Jackson and owns her own home (which is well decorated)! She is in her mid 20s. If you want more information about Lindsey, email me at becca.farmer@gmail.com!
