Zoey - 6 Months
Sweet Zoey,
Look at that smile. You have been such a happy baby this month!
-You laughed for the first time (like REALLY laughed out loud, none of this giggling thing)
- You still are not rolling over (my fault for literally never putting you on the ground, I know...I am trying)
- Sitting up like a champ (have been for awhile).
-You are grab at everything especially your toys hanging on your play mat.
-You are grab at everything especially your toys hanging on your play mat.
-You have a wonderful schedule. Wake up 6/7 eat, 9:30 nap, wake up 10:30 eat, play, eat at 1:30, nap 1:30-4:30, eat, play, eat at 7:30, in bed for the night.
-You smile very easily.
-You aren't that into food so we are taking it slow.
-You loooove to jump in your jumpy and play in your exersauer.
-You love to play with your feet.
-You love to grab my face when I am talking to you. It hurts but I love it :).
-You are wearing size 6-9 cloths 9-12 pjs.
-You are wearing size 3 diapers.
- 5 bottles a day (4-6oz, 1-8oz.)
-You are laid back like your brother.
-You look nothing like either of them.
Zoey, you are a doll and we (daddy, mommy, avery and maddux) love you very much. I can't wait to see your personality bloom in the next few months.
I love you,
Mommy
Neighborhood Family
My kids love to play outside and we have the extra added bonus of having awesome neighbors. My kids get SO excited when they wake up from their nap and look outside and see them. Jonathan, who is 8 (i'm pretty sure), is great with my kids and will even act like a 3 year old just to make them laugh. Tori, is 6 (i'm pretty sure), and Avery always have such a good time together making up some imaginary party!
Look how sweet this baby is!
Jonathan was playing basketball and I thought this picture turned out funny!

February - your view today
I think I found this photo project on Pinterest or a blog but I thought it sounded like fun to I am going to try it. I probably won't do every day but here goes nothing.
We started our on the couch with a little Thomas and milk.
I stayed on the couch and watch them play with Thomas today. Surprisingly well.
Then it was time for lunch. I usually eat at the counter while they eat around the table. We need a bigger table.
After I got ready for a meeting and put on my new cute shoe I got at Target. I love them but man do they hurt, thus the bandaids. I think it will get better with time.
Right before I left little miss was playing on the ground and I think she is SO cute!
A Weekend @ The Grand
One thing that has been a huge blessing in my life has been our church. When we first got married we lived in TN and had a really hard time finding a church that we really loved and felt comfortable in. When we moved to MS I had the fear that we would never find anything UNTIL we came across Highlands. We knew someone that worked there and they invited us to come and the rest is history.
This weekend I had the opportunity to go on the women's retreat to The Grand in Fairhope, AL. The theme of the weekend was Shape of our Lives. It was wonderful! She reminded us that every phase of our life has shaped who we are and who we will be(SO TRUE). Every women in the room had a different "story" and it was so wonderful to hear some of the stories.
I had a blast hanging out with some of my best friends, without kids (which makes a huge difference). Thanks to our husbands, we got to stay for an extra night and enjoy Fairhope for an extra day.

Car buddies!

Diane was AMAZED at the grass and flowers. Seriously though, Fairhope is a beautiful town and most seems perfect.
This was the view from our room. OMG. Beautiful! Somehow the rest of the group got put in a different building and we were in the spa building. NOT complaining. At. All.
The theme verse was "I am the potter, you are clay..." On Friday night we had a local potter come and show us some of her skills and we even got to practice. It was fun!
Oh, how I LOVE Guy. We went to two Diners, Drive-ins and Dives restaurants while we were there! Both were great!!
